After up grading my site my index page went blank. The various modules are working. For example wordpress ME is working, the headline module is working etc. However, the home page comes up completely blank.

I can log into the administration menu by starting on one of the module pages. http://www.election-countdown.com/modules/wordpress

I have been trying to upgrade so that I can reduce the number of spams from poker sites to my website.

hervet: that's what he's saying: to 2.0.10 , from 2.0.9.2

you'll have to 'update' the system module in the system admin, modules page, as all custom blocks will not work when upgrading from < 2.0.10 to >2.0.10. this because the custom blocks now use a dummy template, which isn't there if you haven't 'updated' the system module properly.

I have updated the system module to no success. I still have a blank homepage. I will try again. I appreciate the help.

Update: Redownloaded the upgrade package and continue to have the same problem.

My index homepage still does not work.

Any ideas. Do I need to adjust some php flags?

I notice that your forum has no posts, is this correct? Or did you possibly upload the /modules/newbb folder and are using newbb2 or CBB?

Also see the Xoops System Upgrade Flash Tutorial, it shows an actual 2.0.9.2 to 2.0.10 upgrade. See if there is anything you may have missed.
