Hello All

I urgently need to add new fields to the user registration form (the details must also be sent to the webmaster in the activation email so that the person registering can be correctly identified and validated before their registration is activated).

I have trawled the forums for info on this, but can only find Alpha Foxtrot's hack - this would be great but I cannot make head nor tail of the Spanish translation to be confident of making the changes to the site without serious risk of losing everything.

If anybody knows any English language hacks - or can advise in basic language (that an idiot like me can understand), I would be very grateful.

Thanks

PH

Re: adding new fields to registration form

Hi rewrites,

You have to use Xoops 2.2.x in order to add new fields to the user registration. 2.2.3 still in RC3 (RC means release candidate and do not use for production site). Core Developer will release the stable version very soon.

Happy Xoopsing!

smdcom and blue nova - thanks for the info. Have managed to hack togehter something which will do for the moment - until I know enough about what I'm doing to enable me to update to 2.2.X

Thanks again for your help.
