I think I originally posted this in the wrong section. I apologize.

I built a site last month with XOOPS and I think it is a great program.

And everyone on this community seem very helpful.

I like the fact that someone like me with no programming knowledge can use it successfully.

I like it so much that I wanted to build a second site with it.I used same download, version 2.013, that I used for my last site. Everything worked fine up until the point where I wanted to log-in as the Admin. This is what I saw:

"This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed."

Well, that is good except there is no button to click.
Except for that message on top, the page is blank.
And when I debugged, here is the error I got:

Fatal error: Class xoopsformhiddentoken: Cannot inherit from undefined class xoopsformhidden in /home/spcasaba/public_html/class/xoopsform/formhiddentoken.php on line 44

After searching XOOPS site for help with no success, I went ahead and downloaded a completely new copy of xoops(2.013) and did a reinstall. unfortunatley, the error remains.

I have checked the permissions over and over again .
The permissions are fine on the cache directory and others.

Apperently XOOPS is surpose to create a file in the cache called: adminmenu.php. That file is NOT created.

So this is where I am stuck.
I don't know much PHP. So I am counting on someone to help me out here.

I'm afraid I don't have an immediate answer for you, so let's see if we can walk through this. Maybe we can shake out the bug, or someone who's had this problem will reply.

Did you use the same FTP client to upload both installs?
Did you do anything different between the two installs?
Are both installs on the same server?

Some notes on propper forum use:
please don't use caps only in your subjects, it looks like you're shouting.

I'm having exactly the same trouble, only with XOOPS 2.2 and in my case I do see a click button under the message. However, clicking on it has no effect (only a message for a while saying that it's making a connection, but then it comes back to the same place).
It's strange, I've updated to 2.2 a few days ago and everything went fine, accesing to the admin area many times before without this problem. Don't know why all of a sudden the system decides that this is my first time to the admin area.
Permissions of my cache directory are also ok.

Sorry, not much of a help, but at least I hope it makes you feel not to be the only one in the world having this (I thought I was, before reading your post; one always thinks so, but never is).

The problem's gone now. I can get into the admin area again. Here's what I did:

1. Went back to XOOPS 2.0.13 from my last backup before the update to 2.2
2. New update to XOOPS 2.2, running again xoopsupdate.php

That's it. No more troubles to get in the admin section.

In your case, since you're still with 2.0.13, may be you could backup your current files and try an update to 2.2
