OK - I did search this several times before posting this...so, if I missed it please let me know and I'll gladly read it. I have gone through the entire setup process (many times) and finally got it to work with the stable release. There have never been any logos or pics of any kind...and now that I am logging in there are still no pics at all. Am I mistaken? Shouldn't there be some kind of logo's or something...I ask because it does give me the little red x's for missing picture. I am very new so I'm not sure what's going on, but I am web savvy so with some help I'm sure I can get this fixed.

I would think that if your server is setup correctly and you don't have 'nohotlinking' enabled, then you are probably using the wrong paths in your mainfile.php
Your Virtual Path should be your domain name 'http://www.mysite.com'

and the Physical Path should be for Linux something like:
'/home/username/public_html/myxoopssite'

and for windows:
'c:\www\myxoopssite

If not, post a link to the site, so we can have a look

The link is http://www.farmboy.org/cgi/xoops/html...I will admit, I'm not sure about the physical path. I am using GoDaddy host and I could not find any information to be positive what it should be on their website....althought the installer seemed to find the right information.
