I think you have to make sure that your avatar is small enough. Have a look at the settings of the avatars.

It's not about the size of the avatar. I've checked that. Anyway NONE of the users registered can see ANY avatars at all.

Anyone help please...

I have the same problem. Patro, it looks like most of your images are showing now except Avatars. I have no images or buttons at all. Just text and placeholders with little red X. I had the same problem with the SMF Bulliten Board. The problem stumped the support staff so I decided to give XOOPS a try. The fact that two different programs have the same problem makes me think that there is some characteristic of the server that is causing it but I don't know what.

Could you please give some details about your server then, maybe we can work out what the problem is.

Server, PHP version, XOOPS version, MySQL version... those details might help us work out the problem
