I'am looking for a module and need some advice (some modules has a (very) brief description)

Needs:

- Shows random image (thumbnail),
- Shows real image after thumbnail click (with next/previous image),
- Users (every) can upload image(s),
- Images only shown after admin agreement (activate by admin).

XC Gallery should do all of the above and probably any of the other gallery modules, but I highly reccomend xc gallery. Download it from the repository here

Installed xcGallery. Looks very nice.
When i tried to upload an image this errormessage appears:
"Failed to create directory albums/userpics/10001 !"
mode for directories is 755 (drwxr-xr-x)

Also couldn't find how to set a random image block.

(Using XOOPS 2.2.2)

You might try the latest version of myAlbum-P from the developers website. I've installed it in 2.2.2 and have not had problems with it. I think it will do the things you ask for...

The webserver must be able to write to these directories - so either set them as CHMOD 777 or contact your host to hear them out on what they suggest (some host configurations won't let you CHMOD 777, but have alternative solutions)

Basically, these directories should be CHMOD'ed like you have CHMOD'ed the root templates_c and cache folders.

Thx Mithrandir that's fixed.

But still having problems.
Got a blank page after adding a new image and the same when i click the thumbnail (after reloading main page).

I can't install myAlbum-P.

- php.ini register_globals=on
- php version 4-4.4.0
- mysql-server version 5.0.9_1
- OS FreeBSD
- etc...

A lot of php [notice] warnings (already before install).

If you are sure that you want to go with MyAlbum instead (which is also a very good choice - but I don't know many of the other gallery modules, so can't compare) you can do what GIJOE suggested. I believe this is a MySQL 5.0 problem.
