I'm actually planning a "xoops Site of the month" voting on my XOOPS factory.

This is not forced to be the page with the nicest theme but with the nicest story.

What do you think is best way (module) to handle this job? should i use forum or poll? Any opinions? Ideas, Comments?

I suggest you to use Liaise module ... make a form for voting and then calculate the results.
