OK I know this is a bit far fetched, so I expect some changes to need to be made to whatever module I find, but here goes:

I work with high school students from many schools.
I would like them to be able to set up a page for their school.
On that page they can "blog" whats been happening, and see who else is from that school.
Some vital stats on the school would be nice too: (eg. size etc)

So what module would be best, and what would need editing?

Hmm ... maybe you should try with profiles ... so every shcool can make it's own school profile with picture, location, and news ...

Try it ... you can find it on www.hyperpod.net.

And this module has nothing to do with users profiles ... it is only called like this.

hmm that looks pretty good...
i wonder how they would post their news? the news would do better as a blog wouldnt it...
i also wonder how it could be searchable...
and if only there was a way students could add thier membership...

you know i almost am considering just new forum where each thread can be a school, and each post is a news item. the schools (threads) can be organised into categories, posting is allowed, RSS feeds can be employed...

ideas?
