I can't find a hack or figure out how to resolve this. I'm using News 1.13

So I want to be able to see all the subcategory articles when a parent category is being viewed.

So if I have Categories "A" and "B"
and under "A" would be subcategories "1" and "2"

So when I'm just looking at Category "A" with no subcategories choosen, I would like to be able to see all articles that fall under "A", which would be all articles from subcategories "1" and "2".

Is this possible? It seems like a logical feature.

I would also like to know if this is possible.

I am using News 1.3.11 and would really enjoy such a feature.

For example, if I have a site with a category called Movie Reviews, and then have them broken up by genre, such as horror/comedy/drama/etc if someone selects Movie Reviews, they can see a list of most recent articles.

(Yeah I thought I would add another hypothetical situation too).

I assume such changes would have to be made in the news index.php page.

Here is what I am going to look into right now:

Place the subcategories (as well as their images) at the top of the page, sort of in the description.

Then list all of the most recent articles.

Problem is, I think this will be a big enough change that it should probably be done in conjunction with admin panel stuff, which I have ZERO idea about...
