this is sorta off XOOPS topic but i have a question.

i'd like to know how to make a feature like the image manager work.. sorta.

basically, when you click the image manager, a window pops up. when yo uselect the image you want, and it's position (left, right), the pop-up closes, and then then the code is inserted into the main browser page, adn into the text box.

how is that done? i assume it's javascript, but i'd like to know where i can find the code for that...

any help would be greatly appreciated!

is there generic javascript for this type of action? also, is there a term for this type of action?

i'm not a coder so i'm kinda lookin for a how-to or a c&p solution.

How can make imagemanager to use for upload image only, i.e. the user can only upload his image and see only it, not the other images uploaded before.
Is it posible? To see only last image? Before closing imagemanager and including image in text area.

Hello there.

When you want to make a new forum post, reply to another, send a PM etc you get what I am writing this post in.

That is:
a subject box
Message icon
buttons for a Link, email, image, image manager, code + quote
stuff to do with the font etc
AND the message box.

First off am I right in thinking that the button for image manager is linked to the image_manager2 template?

Second How do I remove this feature from my site?

All the rest id fine I just dont want the image manager any where on the site.

I can't find a template that holds the info (I am assuming it is just the one template that is used on a system wide basis?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

Ok thanks to this thread:

https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=23963&forum=20&post_id=119563#forumpost119563

Have now removed the image and link for Image Manager

From the forum posts but I am still getting it in the PM window (when sending or reply to PMs)

Any ideas?

Dave

Sorry to be a pain in the ass.

I have still not found a solution, and I have spent a little time now searching for other threads that may have an answer.

So again I ask "Does any one have any ideas how to remove the icon or button for the Image Manager in the Orivate Messages Window?"

Thanks

Dave
