That is a shame.

This project was addressing what many consider one of the weakest aspects of XOOPS.

Does anyone know of any good alternatives?

I have tried the IPB conversion, which I like, but don't care for the licensing issue.

The BBpixel version of phpBB doesn't work well from my experience.

I have tried just about everyone of the modules listed here, but I don't like the way they look on certain themes.

I know I could fix that if I knew more about php, but I need to dedicate that time to running my sites.

Thanks!

what licensing issue?

if you use 1.4Ha module then you don't need to buy a license.. you only need the license with V2 or above.. but both modules are still being developed.. it's just that ipb v2 is being developed by invision, v1.4 is being developed by koudanshi and other members.. and not invision, as invision no longer develop 1.3.1 anymore.

I thought that I read somewhere that the app would quit working after 5000 posts if you didn't register (buy) it.

I am running version 1.4H.
