This is probably a stupid question, but I'm trying to locate the IP of someone who is screwing up in one of my forums. I thought the IP's were easy to find, but I can't locate it anywhere within the newbb forum. (while being admin)

That's weird, because the IP's are shown in the old XOOPS 1.3.x which I still use for another site. Also, the ip's are also shown in comments to news etc. So, why not in the newbb forum?

Am I missing something? Is there a way to show the ip's there? (I'm using XOOPS 2.0.9 with standard newbb)

Any help would be appreciated!

Can't remember if this feature was with the standard version of newbb that came with xoops, all of my sites have had a newbb upgrade since I first installed xoops. (but I think the feature was available.)

If you go to the amin menu and then to the preferences for the forum module you should see an option:

Show user IP

Make sure this is set to yes.

I think it was there in the old forum, but now 100% sure.
