Hello,

I got XOOPS 2.0.7.3 running and i decided to upgrade. First I installed the xoops-2.0.7.x_to_2.0.9.2 patch and after that the patch to 2.0.10. Everything seems to run fine, but after some tests I remarked that i cannot add or delete users from groups. When I try to, I don't get any error message or something. Also when I turn on PHP debugging no error message appears. I only see a default message (Taking you back to where you were.... If the page does not automatically reload, please click here) message. But when i go back to the 'modify group' page, the 'deleted' user is still listed (and the 'added' user is not listed).

help....

Am I right in thinking that you have more than 200 users?

I just located a missing security token implementation in that part of the code.

Until further, you can add or remove users to/from a group by editing the individual users through edit user or findusers -> edit.

indeed i have over 200 users (about 250). But I tried it via 'findusers' and this works

But do you think there will come a quickfix for this? Or is it too complicated?

We will make a quickfix release with fixes for a couple of minor bugs.

I think I located the bugger, but will have to test it in more detail before I can say whether it will be in that quickfix release.

Am i right in assuming this is still an open issue?

This was just about to kill me. I have been spending the best of this week handediting a site (guess which) and i just thought that after getting a lot of stuff back in that this would be a problem i created.

So just say yes and i will be happy ;)
Guess no quickfix but in the next release?

Still open.

We are currently considering whether it is worth it to release the quickfix version 2.0.11 when 2.2 is only a couple of weeks away.

Thanks. *wooosh*

Wouldn´t release it if its just this fix. So if its not that many lines to add/change you could post for those who would want to edit them right away though.

Just my 2ct.

that's just the problem - I can't remember what the fix was in details. And I'm not 100% certain that the one I have for 2.1 will be directly applicable on 2.0.10

Any idea when 2.1 will be released? Or the fix for this particular add/remove group issue?

With a site with 29K users, it's a bit hard to manually do the add/remove.

Thanks
eric

I think the 2.2 version will be released soon ... two or three weeks I think.
