Ok, we'll aside from that problem.. it seems I can still upload files under a meg in size. I'm wondering if my php is set up wrong. Looks right though, and I have register globals on. Anyone have any suggestions or maybe even recommend a better filemanager mod?

**edit**
could it be due to the fact that I'm using the isap version of php? Maybe i need to switch to the cgi version?

Thanks
Chris

Having in mind coments here how secure is adding .htaccess file containing
php_flag   register_globals   on
to /modules/filemaneger?

you are better off running with globals off

i dunno if file manager requires fopen to be on tho..

in regard to filesize, you would need to set that higher in php.ini

also check the script timeout value..

max_post size and memory limit.. they could have factors.

but i don't think will be the cause of the errors above..

Sory I havent been clear enought. When register_globals is off FileManedger cant see folders behind root of xoops. In coments in Modul repository somebody showed some kind of hack, other said it is less secure than globals on. So I'm interested if seting global on only in FileManeger direktory is the less risky of all three. And what kind of risks do i take.
