Yes, there is a module called iradio, which is a fast port from an exoops-version. You can find the download here!

Ok, I like the module buuut...

The overhead of loading the media player on my portal page is absolutely killing the load time for my site (It was already bloated to start with ).

What I would find ideal, and have tried unsuccessfully to create a custom block that calls the popup from a link. Has anyone done this? What files and code did you modify to do it?

Any feedback would be just super.

Give debaser a try. You don't need to use all of the extras, but it comes with great Internet Radio block that fits perfectly into left or right columns.

Thank you francis for implementing the radio block perfectly and gestroud for suggesting its use. This is exactly what I've been looking for.

Great job.

I never "wasted" a thought on shoutcast so far, but yes it is doable.

Open debaser/popup.php and change... ...rubbish... ...rest of former post deleted because pls-support was already in the code.

So finally dementia caught me!
