Hi,

I am planning a new project and I would like to do it with xoops.
But I haven't found a points module so far...maybe I am just blind but I can't find it.
I am looking for a module that gives points to user for some sort of activity they have done on the website like submitting content, picturees or for posting in a forum.


Does a module like this exist?

There isn't one! There is the badly broken userpoints you can try, but it isn't worth the bother unless you are apt to heavily customize it. Actually, it's more of a bother than it's worth.

Too bad, because a module like that has been long needed too.

It seems (for me) that you could use the coming extensible user info in XOOPS 2.2...
Take a look at this...

Too bad that there isn't a good solution yet. Because a module
like this is really neat to get a community going by holding a contest or whatever.

phpbb - if you read this - is this something perhaps that the Karma points from cbb can be extended to cover?
