I figured it prohibits members who have been poorly rated to reply to your posts, but I would be interested to know how to use it.

Currenty a user's karma = his post count * 50
Very ugly, eh?

Don't worry, with extensible user info in XOOPS 2.2, XOOPS karma handler is really ready to go

Can you explain a bit more on that Phppp? Will it allow for something similar to a userpoints module?

I just tried it. If you dont have enough Karma the post just displays the message:
Quote:
Your personal karm 400 does not reach the required karma 500.
Please try later.

I would have posted a comment about the spelling of Karma in the message, but oh well...

I am also confused about the 'reply' option. Select this and you get the message:

I was logged in, so does this mean you must have already contributed to the thread?
