Hi,

I have just tested the Web Link Module that comes preinstalled with Xoops.

My problem is that once I create a link, I can't see it in the module screen.

Is there a way of getting a list of all my categories, and links within the categories, so I can click on them if I want to change them? I plan on adding thousands of links manually with a couple of paragraphs for a review, and I don't want to ahve to remember some Link ID. That sort of screws with the idea of a CMS being helpful.

If you are looking for an admin-side list of links (like you get with news stories in the news module), the links module doesn't do that.

It's easier to manage MyLinks directly from the user side where you have access to the categories and their contents. If you are logged in as admin you get a little red edit icon next to the title, so you don't need to know ids etc.

Apart from that, I suggest installing PHPMyAdmin module, which allows you to work directly on the database, and use some basic SQL filtering.

No nice solutions I'm afraid.

If you're logged in as an admin, surf to the module mylinks itself.
In front of each link you'll see an icon within the descriptionfield. This is the admin edit button.
