Installed the photo hack its is great, thanks m0nty.

Would like to know if either m0nty or someone else could tell me how addtionnal entries in the profile can be added.

In particular the gender selection implementation which is very handy.

Which files must be edited? I know how to update my dababase by look at the MySQL file for photo hack by m0nty, but dont know which php/template files i need to edit.

@rominus, i read your pm, sorry i haven't been doing much work on it in the last few weeks, due to time, illness and working on other things.. i'll see if i can get a draft done for you regarding the addition of fields to the profile.. i'll have to do the date of birth code too, as i haven't looked into that properly yet.

have cleaned up and commented the edits i made for the profile fields..

you can download the extra profile fields hack HERE

i added a couple new classes to the XOOPS core mainly a gender selection and zodiac select..

sorry rominus, i haven't sorted the date of birth part out yet, but i will try to soon..

Be SURE to read the READ ME file included in the hack for instructions, as it contains some vital notes regarding installation (especially if you use my photo upload hack or x-ipb or multilingual etc) if you use those files, you will have to do the hack manually and not use the files from the zip..

monty,
i might have a little problem with the installation.
after editing and i submit.
it goes to a white page.

i did follow the readme file.

I check the sql and i saw this :

"PRIMARY and INDEX keys should not both be set for column `uid`
More than one INDEX key was created for column `uname` "

found out the mod is for XOOPS 2.0.10 profile page.

but i am still using XOOPS 2.0.9.2

yes it's for 2.0.10, but you should be able to make it work with 2.0.9.2,

if u compare the files in the hack with the ones on 2.0.92, the edits are in the same place practically, or thereabouts..

but you'll see things like _POST on the 2.0.10 version, these aren't in the 2.0.92, so u would have to slightly modify the values, just check the format from the existing fields such as user_yim etc and see how those are written and change accordingly.

regarding the photo upload hack..

it's for XOOPS 2.0.9.2/3

if you are using XOOPS 2.0.10 you need to use THIS version

sorry for the delay.. if updating, no need to run the sql query again.. u only need the sql query for fresh install..

just read the readme file.

for those of us who already have the photo hack installed, which files should we update, and how? Do you have a copy of the files with the photo hack + additionnal fields?
