View posters' IP in newbb?

I don't find how to show the posters' IP addies for Webmaster and Moderator privileged users in the newbb module...

I only see IPs for comments in the Journal and Gallery modules...

Please advise...

Also, I did attempt a search for this, but "view IP" and "see IP" are too short for the search function...

In newbb 2 Admin you can find this in Module Settings. 37th line down "Show user IP."

in newbb2 all the ips are 0.0.0.200 what´s wrong in my newbb install?

in NewBB 1 or before NewBB 2.0 Final, IP is store as string in DB and we did not provide a conversion for it. that's why you might see some IPs like "0.0.0.200"

Since NewBB 2.0, IP is stored as integer. However, there is a bug could affect IP if proxy is enabled.
the bug has been fixed in CBB 1.13

Hi, thanks for reply,

I have NewBB 2.02 Final and i see all the ips as 0.0.0.200 style.
I come from koudanshi xphpbb to phpbb to newbb1 to newbb2 final.
Exist any way to delete these bad ips to obtain new ones?

i read about CBB, but i only found a chinese version, exist a english version?
The notifications works fine in CBB? because in newbb2.02 the notifications by mail and by PM not work for me.

The notifications can likely be fixed by updating your custom templates (assuming you're using a custom). I looked at the upgrade files and deleted the template files that were new and re-generated them. That fixed my notifications. Not sure about the IPs, they look fine on my site.

All the newbb templates or all the site templates? because the notifications not work in all the modules, mydownloads,news,newbb2,etc etc etc.

The System module templates. I forget exactly which one it is (likely one that has the word "notification" in the name). If you have the 2.0.10 upgrade package you can see which templates were changed.

ok, I looked, here is the list of changed templates you should update:

system_block_dummy.html
system_imagemanager2.html
system_imagemanager.html
system_notification_list.html
system_notification_select.html
system_redirect.html
system_siteclosed.html
system_userform.html

And this block template:
system_block_notification.html

I deleted all these templates and generate again and not luck,

also i made a fresh 2.0.10 install in my hard disk with xsas, and get the same results,

The notifications are set, and if i enter in the notifications page i see all the current selected notifications,
But never but never the system send PM to my inbox


Im the only one with this problem?
I really appreciatte all your help and time DonXoop.
