Deleting private messages ... how ?

Hello!

I was searching in a database one day and I saw my old already deleted private messages in there. So when I press delete it actually doesn't delete the messages ?

Is there a tool to delete all private messages from your site ? I think we should really need something like this ...

Is there any other way to delete them ?

were they actually your deleted messages or were they messages that you had sent somebody else that they might still have in their inbox that they haven't deleted?

These are the messages that I had in my inbox and I deleted them. Is this a bug ? Should they be deleted ?

i'd have thought so. i haven't actually checked my db on any site to check if they were deleted or not..
