In what file is the link that is will change (for under the page) Powered by xoops?

try system admin -> preferences -> meta and footer settings. If that doesn't work, check if your current active theme has <{$xoops_footer}> where the footer should be:

themes/name of your current theme/theme.html

Oh, even tho it is not a requirement, we do think it is polite and nice to show that XOOPS is powering your website. It's the least you can do for all the people who have helped you so far

yeh........a simpile XOOPS is not so hard and it doesn't take up too much room....

I know it's all free and stuff and there is no requirement to display XOOPS but damn.........it would just be rude not to wouldn't it??

Do people not have morals anymore??
