Hi guys,
I have installed XOOPS on my site (www.krooga.com) with my homepage module being the news one. When going to krooga.com, the url is therefore www.krooga.com/module/news, my question is: is there a way to remove the /moduls/news from my page (only for the homepage) ?

The question ws already asked.
Two solutions :
1) use url rewriting (search on this site)
2) don't use the news module on your home page but use its recent news block

I was interested in this thread as well.
I searched url rewritingbut no results were found. If anyone knows where this article is a link would be much appreciated.
For now I stopped using the news module as home and that fixed the url and put the recent news block on the homepage but I dosent display the stories, just links to them..not really what I want but it will do for now.

hervet how did you get your recent article block to display the whole article?

Update: Ok I decided not to use the news module at all and just made a custom block with my news articles in it (since it is me only that puts entries in it) and set it to display on the main page, now everything I want shows on the main page and the url is not a mile long.
