Greetings -

I turned my website off for maintenance and on the web page there is a missing image.

Where is this image supposed to be located?

Thanks In Advance.

Greetings Herko -

I looked at system_siteclosed.html and it uses a tag of "<{$xoops_imageurl}>logo.gif".

The logo.gif is the 'XOOPS' image (which answers my other question), the image is there, however it does not show in the site close web page.

Any sugestions?

Thanks In Advance.

Greetings -

Before you ask, the answer is yes, I did an update to the system module to make sure. I am also kind of suprised that no one has run into this problem before.

Do I have to hardcode the image path rather than using "<{$xoops_imageurl}>logo.gif" on the maintenance screen?

I would rather not hardcode the path if there are any other options.

Any sugestions would be appreciated.

Make sure there is an image file called logo.gif in side your theme folder and it will work.

for example: http://www.yoursite.com/themes/yourthemename/logo.gif

Greetings martyboy -

Thank you for your response.

Hardcoded the path http://mysite/images/logo.gif, edited the system_siteclosed.html for placement of the gif on the right side, and I got the image to show correctly.

And while this works, what I do not understand is why the original tag did not.

Obviously, someone expected to work in that circumstance or they would not have coded it that way. At one time it might of worked, assuming someone had tested it, and got the results they expected.

Hope this solution helps someone else in the community.
