Hi Daniel,

I really like this new module, and it is exactly what I am looking for.

requests:

1. It would be nice if the text area could be split in an intro text and a full profile text.
In this way the profiles could be listed with a small introduction in a list.

2. It would be nice if koivi editor could be supported for easy input of text.

Great work...

Ok, im adding the features that are requested and that i think would work for most people.

I have already added to 0.9:

1. Admin can choose to allow users to link to their XOOPS User Profile.
2. Users can select whether to enable this per profile.
3. There is now a second text area to hold an extended description.

Many more... v0.9 will be released soon.

The site in question is built with XOOPS version 1.x.x
Its been a very long time sense i've had XOOPS 1 installed.
Was that a default feature right out of the box or
maybe it was a port from e-xoops.

I've already started the translation as promised...

Having a look at the forum, I realize that there is many people who like to have something like the "Profile ID Card" linked to the original user info page.

Please try to complete version 0.9!

The portrait module interests me too.
if it give a list, can it be sorted alphabetically?

A thread about the letters() function that is sorting the WFdownloads, with a bug in it ... can be found here: https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=32229&start=10#forumpost147077
I think there's also a fix in there, from PHPnuke code, but I don't know how to implement it myself.

Is there an estimation for the 0.9 version ?

Is there something new (0.9) ?
The "alphabetic listing" was solved at last with the help of wtravel , so if you didn't implemented it yet, I will in 0.09 ... waiting ofr the release.

Features requests:

1. If GD will be invoulved, and option in Admin side to attach small thumb in the "list view" and to define it's width + hight.

2. A few (or definable) more fields in profile.

3. To be able to controll HTML ability in the "Description" field

4. Groups features (which group can see/post profiles)

5. Blocks features (or simply in additional fields, but then less versitile) : would be used for things like
"Important dates" == birthdays and so ...

If you do add more fields, I think that these three fields are essential in addition to the "Location" field:

-Date of Birth (or age but then when the user is older it wont be updated. Or maybe the script can update it?)

-Gender (dropdown box with male or female)

-Occupation

I agree with tzvook it would really make the module much more esthetic and useful to have a thumbmail of the photo in the main listing area.

You could have the same thumbmail on the actual profile and then when you click on it have the full photo in a popup window.

Finally I personally think that blocks are not the priority right now.
