Is the problem:

Getting a blank page when searching?2. Getting an error message when searching? Respond in this thread with the error message
3. Your returned results do not match your expected results?
4. A module you installed does not show up in the search page?
The search page's logic is stored in search.php, but relies on each installed module's xoops_version.php script to determine if the module supports search, and if so, what module function handles the search query.
