Hi there guys,

I am using XSAS to setup an intranet.

I was working on my Intranet site, left it for an hour and when I came back none of my passwords work!

admin password doesnt work, editor password doesnt work and all of the other users passwords dont work!
I emailed myself a password reminder but it only sent me the editor password - which turned out not to work!

Has anyone any ideas what I can do?

I have phpmyadmin in XSAS but I dont know where to find anything about users,

Any help would be more than appreciated!

You might go into your panel server and select MySql. Then go to the XOOPS folders and run a check on the MySQL db of Xoops. If it's corrupted you can fix it with the repair tool in the MySql.

Sorry to be so late

That is probably the correct db. You should have options to check and repair on the screen just above your database information.

I'm not talking about using phpadmin.

Your server panel should have a click on to MySQL.

I assume u have phpmyadmin access, so execute this command

update xoops_users set pass '5ebe2294ecd0e0f08eab7690d2a6ee69' where uid 1

If it goes fine, your password is "secret" (without quotes), login and change to your favorite one. Do required change if your prefix is not 'xoops'
