Hey, I'm real new here. Is there a way to show more than just the title of a news article or blog like several sentances with a "click for more"? I've got the News and Blog modules installed but all I get is the title and date.

But I already have that set. All I get is the news article Headline! No content. This can't be that hard. I must be missing something simple being a newbie.

I can get content to appear on the top page with Custom Blocks, but why does my news articles or blogs only show headlines and no content!!!!!!!

I feel like I'm banging my head against the wall. I'm sooo frustrated!

Anyone else have suggestions?

I use a module called Spotlight that puts actual content on the main front page. You can do a search for it. It's easy to install and once you do that you can choose to have it put the News content (from the News module) on either side or the middle. (I have it show in the middle, like a typical blog)

I'm trying to get this to work also.
I have Spotlight installed and as far as I can see, set up correctly and its still not showing more than the title of the entry.

You need to go into the blocks admin page. Find your block. To the far right you will see an "Edit" link, click on that link other settings are set there.
