I'm running my site on a Windows 2003 server with everything working except the email function. How do I setup my site to email to a POP account? There isn't any email running on the server.

What is needed on the Windows server (sendmail equivalent)?

Thanks.

You can use the smtp settings, I guess (that's the POPmail type).

Thanks for the reply, but does anyone know how to set it up? What settings are needed to be put in xoops?

system admin -> preferences -> mail setup

FROM address -> Your e-mail adres
FROM name -> Your name
Mail delivery method -> SMTP (or, if your provider/server does not allow scripts to use SMTP, use SMTPauth)
SMTP hosts -> use the SMTP host you normally use here
SMTPauth username -> use username you use to connect to your mail server here (only if server does not allow anonymous connections)
SMTPauth password -> use password you use to connect to your mail server here (only if server does not allow anonymous connections)
