Hi Guys,

First off all sorry for my bad english.

Well i want to say something about me first.
I am an webmaster of a little car club in the Northern of the Netherlands.
We are just starting and we are using xoops.
My first site i wrote in php and because i am a Noob in PhP.
Things became a little bit complicated.
So i came onto XOOPS which i had to know much earlier.

After 80% of completion of my site i want to know from you what do you think of my site...
Beware my site is in the dutch language.
Because our main public is dutch and the dutch people are also our goal.

Some modules i rewrite my own and other modules are simple edited by deleting lines i don't needed.
And for some modules i wrote my own language file.
Because there wasn't any.
I also edited the theme design from 7dana. (7dana-round)

Last thing i want to say.
Is that if you encounter some problems on my site.
Or find bugs and errors, please let me know.
My website is located at an server of my own.
It is placed in my house.
So my website can sometimes get a little slow.
My server has an Xdsl line with an speed of 3mbit download &
and 0.8mbit upload.

You can find my site at the following url:

Hi

Nice little site you have developing there. As for speed I found it very fast to load. Neat and tidy and everything easy to hand. Looks quite sweet too. With the subject matter being cars you can no-doubt get it to look amazing.

Only one thing
I think, you can replace current XOOPS_URL definition by IP with your real hostname (IP found in main menu links)

Thx for your tip...
But then my cookies won't work.
I host my site on my own server at home.
And i did not found the option in apache yet to correspont my IP between my Domain name so cookies and session to work...

################# Named VirtualHosts
NameVirtualHost 111.222.33.44
<VirtualHost 111.222.33.44>
ServerName www.domain.tld
ServerPath
/domain
DocumentRoot
/web/domain
VirtualHost>

In case of mass-hosting I prefer to use mod_vhost_alias (no changes in config for adding new host, no restarts of Apache). I have now only 15 sites, but adding new is a task of executing 2 cp commands:
1-st cp for preparing empty site-tree
2-nd cp for replacing default favicon.ico by site's own

Yes, it's "classic" and easiest Name-Based Virtual Hosting, which require editing httpd.conf for every new added host.
