i have an homepage for you which is build with XOOPS 1, where they use an songvoting module.

You can see the top ten track listing at the right blocks with the name "Homerecording Charts 3/2005". There are also at the left block site one another block of the songvoting module with the name "New Votings".

This has produced Profiles v0.7 ...

It allows users and admins to add/edit extended Profiles.

Can be used for music sites, with the suggested changing of 'List' to 'Members' in the language files.

Many small features and image uploads included.

The track manager and mp3 player isnt part of this release yet.Keep in mind, a music profiles module with track manager and mp3 player will be released soon based on Profiles v0.7

For now can simply create an mp3 directory, add files to it and link to them directly with XoopsCode:

download and make sure this is working... this is the profile editor system.

You have one error in english language in file modinfo.php:

Both:
define("_MI_IMGHEIGHT"
define("_MI_IMGWIDTH"

are defined as image width.

And I made a Slovenian translation for XOOPS Slovenija!

(yeah the width bug is already fixed in v0.9, to be released soon.

I will send you v0.9 when its ready to translate.

It has alot more features so these new ones need a translation.

Just an update...

I have Profiles v0.9 ready to go and am now working on XOOPS JukeBox.

(side note: alot of people might think the Profiles module is just for extending User Profiles. It is not. It is a seperate application and is not meant to replace the User Profiles. It simply allows your site to profile anything with a picture and text block, etc.)

The JukeBox module will allow your site to have a playlist and admins/users can upload MP3 files. It will include an MP3 player so any XOOPS site can have a JukeBox with this.

I will then merge Profiles and JukeBox into Artists Profiles.

This will add MP3 track management and mp3 player to the Profiles module after these two are merged into yet a 3rd module.

SO when all is done, we will have:

Profiles Module
JukeBox Module
Artist Profile Module

Hope that clears up whats happening here. Its going fairly well.

Now if only could find some more sponsors, then maybe I could focus on this work. But otherwise, I will be working on it as time permits.

So far, ScriptFu has been very generous.
