Hi
I goosed the installations for a couple of modules.
I deactivated them, and tried to uninstall them, but the screen apperas to hang.

Can I clean up my modules page, and remove then entries that say "Module File for Not Found!"

It just keeps reminding me how little I now !!!!

how do you mean goosed?

do you mean u deleted the folders from the server and then tried to uninstall them? if so then you will need to upload the modules back to the server so that the modulesadmin can then uninstall it..

either that or if u remove the folder from the server it will remove the module not found.. i'm not sure exactly what u mean or how u mean..

Sorry
I thought maybe others had had this problem.

I uploaded ams, and instead of having the folder called AMS, I had it as ams. When you go to install, it obviously can't find all the files.

I deleted the folder from the server, and am stuck with Module File for Not Found! in the module list.

I'm a newbie

Re: Module File for Not Found!

In order to remove a module you need to first deactivate, then uninstall from the modules admin page.

See this Flash Tutorial to see how it is done.

To fix your problem, you need to reupload the folder, uninstall the proper way. After that it can be removed from the server safely.

HTH.
