MySQL backup for Xoops?

Hello,

I'm concerned about backing up the content of my xoops
DB and retore it if necessary. This would be useful if
the DB crashes, or an XOOPS upgrade screws up my
customization etc.

Any recommendations on what to use for this purpose?
Is there a function that I can call from the admin module
to perform a full backup (generating all the necessary
sql for a full restore)? Or a standalone script will
also be fine.

Additionally if your site has a cPanel control panel you can do a full, database, or home directory backup from the cPanel backup menu.
