when i try to upload a file with the ticket i get this error:

None

some background information:

1. on what type of server is xhelp installed?
- Windows or Linux/BSD?
- Type of web server software (IIS or Apache)

2. Check that the upload directory /uploads/xhelp/ is writable by the web application (777 permissions on Linux/BSD, IUSR_<computername> has full control of this folder on Windows)

3. What are your current file upload settings (set in the xhelp preferences)?

boy do i feel dumb, seems to be working fine, i just forgot to set default department. thanks for your help
