alternative calendar module?

Are there other caledars out there besides the ones that appear in the downloads sections? I was hoping someone out there has come across something. Thanks.

Best Regards to all,

Alfonso

I wish there was a module that displayed a simple minical, upcoming events and could be linked to the news. I'd rather post a news item, and have the calendar link to that, if necessary, rather than keep details of the event seperate to news / duplicated in news.

g'day Herve. Any chance the new version is going to have an option for recurring events? (birthdays)

I'm currently using AgendaX, and not happy with the date formatting.
I like the features of Pical, but hate the calendar style.

All yours needs is the recurring events to make me happy.

Cheers

I can't wait for the new Beta to be released, to fix that bug of not being able to click on an event. I agree, I ditched AgendaX cos of date format too, and I don't like the calendar in PiCal. Extcal seems to be a great looking module with the functionality of both.

A couple of other points. Will there be an upcomming 30 day events, or a way to limit the upcumming events to a set number of days? similar to agenda x?

Also the ability to be able to edit an event without having to go through the admin module.

Cheers

See you

No Probs. Without sounding pushy, any sort of timeframe for the release of the new version?

Cheers

Hallo Zoullou,

I'm very interested in the management of regular events as well and would like to know how you see this developing.

I need to implement a calendar module for an amateur orchestra for their regular meetings & rehersals. At the moment none of the XOOPS calendar modules offer the ability to enter something like "every Tuesday at 7:30 until 10:00" and then delete the events which won`t happen - for example because of the Christmas and school holidays.

If I knew that in the near future this feature would become available in a module, I would use this module with manual entry of repeating events until this feature was implemented.

Is this on your feature list?

Hopefully,

Alan
