Hi

I cant find the newbb from 1 to 2 upgrade files.

Please direct me there.

In the newbb 2 distribution file, there's a script update/newbb1_to_newbb2.php.

hi

in the readme file i find this

1. Delete all Files in your old newbb folder
2. Upload the New Files and Run the Proper Update Script
3. Update the NewBB Module in the Moduleadmin
4. Set Permissions for the Categories and Forums
5. To make the Popup Menu work, make sure that the <{$xoops_module_header}> is included in your theme.html
6. Update the newbb templates[/b]



I cannot understand point 5 and 6.

Can someone explain them to me.

Point #5 means to paste <{$xoops_module_header}> into you theme html between < head> and < /head> to get the dropdown menus.

Update Templates:
Administration->System->Templates

(If you've only got the Default Templates, then go and clone them. Afterwards go to System->Config and choose the newly created templates to be used.)

Then go to the newbb templates and delete them all ! After that in System->Templates Overview go and generate them again. That's it !
