Hi there,

i did tons of changes with 2.0.7.3
now, XOOPS 2.0.9 is available. is there a list of each file edited since 2.0.7.3 so i could fix the security bugs on my own?
an update is impossible because there had been to many changes.

thanks for you help

Re: XOOPS 2.0.9

I have made a diff package of the CORE changes (i.e. not modules)

Re: XOOPS 2.0.9

One of the most important ones are in newbb - so if you use the stock version that came with the full XOOPS package, you should upgrade to the one in 2.0.9
The upgrade package only contains the changed files - and no module templates (apart from one in the system module) have been changed - so if you have not changed those files in your installation, you can just overwrite with the files in the upgrade package

i've installed newbb2 and there i also did a lot of changes. updates become impossible.
so, which files should i update? i think updating one file requires to do all other changes as well?

Ignore all files in modules/newbb folder, update all others

Do you know which files you have hacked? (I presume you mean you've hacked/modified the original files?)

If not - I think there are some tools you can get to do a file by file comparisson - so you could run one of these against the standard version of the currently running installation perhaps?

OK, so now I have upgraded to 2.0.9.1. Now I would like to update to Newbb 2.0. Is it ok to make the Newbb upgrade after the XOOPS upgrade?
