Hi all. I'm new to Xoops...and I love it. Came from PHPNuke, and what a breath of fresh air this XOOPS is.

Since I am new, I have a question about the news module. I have searched the forums, and haven't found anything on what I'm looking for.

With the News module, is it possible to display an entire article (such as a blog would do) on the main home page? I have top news, recent news, ... , all of it visible, but nothing displays.

If this module won't do this, does anyone know of any that will?

Thank you all!!!

You have to do 2 things
1. Write entire artilce in first section (introduction text) and nothing in "extended"
2. Select "News" as module for main page (in Administration - System- Site Configuration)

Lazy,

Thanks for your help. I did everything you said, except #2. Where exactly is "Administration - System - Site Configuration"? I found a couple of places that I thought were just that, but they didn't say anything about configuring the News section to be on the main page (which it is already).

Thanks.
