Main thing: Give people a reason to post!
When you review a game, show some emotions and opinions. Something that people can comment on.
If you give an average review of a game that doesn't really tell people anything they didn't know already, they'll probably read it and forget it.
You have a good attempt in the review of Doom 3, but it is a little inconsistent:
Quote:
id Software's highly anticipated squeal Doom 3 might just be the best game on the PS2
That's good, that's an opinion people can agree or disagree with, but then you say
Quote:
You find out how this game is kind of badly thought out
Another opinion, good, but it does not really correspond with the above sentence.
You generally bash the game, then end up with a conclusion of a must-have game - that says to me that it is a half-worked out review by someone not very experienced and not really worth commenting on.
Work on that. Work on the content. Give people a reason and a motivation to comment.
I know that feedback is great. It is a fantastic feeling to write or do something and then have people tell you "Wow, that was a really great job, you did there" - but such things take time. If you have a fair number of readers, comments WILL come, with time.
