In control panel home all the module buttons disappeared. I can still get to the links, modules are still there, but I have to show some non xoopsters how to admin a new site and that will be hard if the buttons are gone.

Any ideas?

)after making a backup) delete the cache/adminmenu.php file, and relogin as admin. It'll say it's the first time you're logging in, but that's the message you get when the system is generating the adminstration menu.

Thanks Herko,

It was cache and it also seems a mod upload (xCal), I dumped both and everything went back to normal.

Hope this helps anyone else that runs into the prob.

I tried this for my problem without success. My problem is that the full modules admin page isn't showing. I know this because I can't see the XOOPS footer at the bottom of the page, also, of course, all the modules I haven't installed, including the new ones, can no longer be seen at the bottom of the page, thus, I can't install them.

I've tried three different browsers, so I know it's not a browser issue.

The problem happened right after I installed a new module.

Any ideas?

Have you tried turning on PHP Debug?

Ok,

turned on debug and got this error message:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/councilb/public_html/modules/addressbook/xoops_version.php on line 1

Appearently, the addressbook module was causing the problem.
I've deleted it and everything is fine.

Thanks
