When my start page is set to 'none', outside users can get to the login page, albeit with no graphics, but when they try to login, they get 'connection refused'.

When my start page is set up as one of the modules, outside users cannot access my page at all, a 'connection refused' comes back.

I am using apache, and here is some excerpts from the error.log, if it helps:

What is your set value for XOOPS_URL in mainfile.php? Does this match site the users are using?

If not - change XOOPS_URL to match how the users are going to access the site.

I appreciate the great and quick help. That fixed it for me, I had it set up ashttp://localhost/xoops instead ofhttp://myipaddress/xoops.

The XOOPS team is awesome.
