What are the differents & how to count that?

These levels are calculated from the user's post count and registration date.

The calculations are rather complicated, but can be seen in newbb/include/functions.php get_user_level() function starting at line 683

What do the abbreviations actually mean though?

HP = ?
MP = ?
EXP = ?

HP = Hit Points
EXP = Experience
MP = I don't know

They are taken from the role-playing game world :)

as mithrandir pointed out, they´re taken from RPG. so i guess "MP" could be "Magic Points" or "Mana Points". both are used to desribe the characters ability to cast spells. but how that fits into a bb-module, i can´t really figure out...
