I've used XOOPS latest release, ie 2.9 beta and everything works fine except for the myalbum module. Noone can post/submit a photo even me, the administrator cannot submit a photo!! When I click on the browse button on the submit menu nothing happens! I don't know what to do? If anyone can help me, I'd be extremely grateful

Heres the link to my sitehttp://darthlalang.saptui.com

which u install first?
Xoops 2.09 beta or Myalbum module first?

U did a upgrade to 2.09 or you installed 2.09 directly and then you install myalbum module?

or you were using myalbum module then you upgrade your XOOPS to 2.09 then you found out the submit problem?

I've installed XOOPS 2.7 first, but as I have some problems with it I've delete it all and install a new XOOPS ie 2.9 beta, then I install all the other modules like myalbum, guestbook, news, forum board etc etc.

I am not really sure myalbum is compatible with the new XOOPS 2.09 beta.
As far as i know, myalbum works fine with 2.07 as the one i am using also.
i am using myalbum-p.

I can confirm this. I use two instances of MyAlbum on my site and I use 2.0.7 - it works a treat like that.

Seeing as 2.0.9 is not advised for live production sites yet I would recommend you install 2.0.7.3 and then install the MyAlbum module from scratch. Once you've done, that check all the permission carefully (in the module itself). MyAlbum has quite a customisable permissions system so if you neglect to configure it that may cause you problems too.

Good luck

Ted

A good question - I have neither installed either and did try to do so at one point, but I couldn't get it to work. So I left it and told MyAlbum to use GD (or whatever its called). It works on the whole, but one of my thumbnails is also up the spout and I don't know why.

If you do a search for NetBM or ImageMagic you can download them easily enough, but I couldn't work out how to configure them. I kept getting errors regarding permissions and things.

Sorry I could not be more help.
