hi folks,

every module can have a different name. this can be changed in the module section of the admin area. is there any possibility to change the first menu entry from "homepage" to something else?

A couple of ways to do this one:
change the language declaration in modules/system/language/english/blocks.php
define("_MB_SYSTEM_HOME","Home"); // link to home page in main menu block


Modify the system_block_mainmenu.html template in Administration Menu -> System -> Templates to output your desired text.

ackbarrs first suggestion would be the quickest and less dirty. Thanks ackbarr, I was just looking at both options as you made the post.

Language defines are so much faster to change and don't require template rebuilds so they can be viewed immediately.

oh, thanks to both of you. i think the language-file is indeed the quickest way. I´ll give that a try.
