Hello folks,

I was in the assumption that the standard list of avatars was provided with/part of the newbb module.
It seems I was wrong.
Now I've downloaded some pics that I wanna use as such.
Is there a so called best place or directory to put them in?

For example: in some posts I read that this should the uploads dir.
To me it seems more logical that they should be put in a dir or subdir in the images dir of the newbb module.

What is wisdom in this matter?

I can't remember where I saw it but there are avatar packs available and also a module for mass upload of avatars/smileys. Google 'avatars for xoops' and you might find something. Also google '3500 avatars'.
To find where to put them cos I'm not sure, go into your profile and upload an avatar then look for it in your file manager.

This works very well and I have also successfully changed the avatars to the ones of my liking.
