What is the difference between Big Story and Top News

Hello,

I just start using XOOPS and trying to understand their features. I have a question for News Module, there are 2 blocks one is Big Story another is Top News. What is the difference between these two since when I create new news story, it is appeared in both blocks.

i also would like to know how to expand the news block like you see on other sites instead of just having a link to the news.

Do you mean the 'submit news' and 'archive' links?

You have to enable them in your /module/news/xoops_version.php file. Remove the '/' in front of the sublinks you want to show.

Big Story is the most read news article of the day
