NewBB 2.0 RC2 Installation problems/bug

I have just installed the newbb2 forum and I followed the instructions to the letter I have removed the old newbb 1.0 and installed the newbb 2.0 I went to the modules section and updated the forum module and also ran the script include to bring over all the forums I clicked synchronise to synch the forums I have add the global permissions and added moderaters but yet still no forums show up they show up in the recent comments on the front page but nothing in the forums module is there any suggestions here.The forums show up in my admin section but not in the site thats the strange thing too but even after setting the permissions they still do not show up in the main site

must update template at admin --> template for newbb2
many users hav this problem
its better to put this at the upgrade structure

I updated my template files and still the forum only show catergories not the forums themselves even the descruption i put in for each catergory does not show up and some iconns and writing does not show either.

I am stumped

thanks for that tip too but yet still not functioning

thanks seemd to work it out it seems that the newbb 2.0 rc2 is not completly compatible with all themes thanks for the help too

Oh no, do not say this.

Since NewBB 2 has no problem with the "default" theme, it would be more proper to say: Not all themes follow the XOOPS state-of-the-art theme standard

Sooory php what a mistake I should be more plitically correct... Let me rephrase this absolutly wonderful new module with all its fantastic options seems to not cope with sub standard non state of the art XOOPS themes..... Is that better php...
