Mmmm one thing is still broken, the error.php page. Its in the same folder as the disclaimer.php and it doesnt work.

The include paths are the same too

http://www.planetsmilies.com/static/error.php

How strange is that. Any ideas?

Thats a bit odd, I have to admit. You could try deleteing the file entirely and uploading a new copy.

I use .htaccess with specified 404 files etc for my errors. Might something your already doing, not sure, but worth considering if not.

I think any sort of change will get it fixed. Something might be corrupt.

I tried with a new copy but it doesnt work.

Yes I'm using an htaccess. Just yesterday when this all happened I read something about updating the htaccess with the new path but err, the virtual path is the same in this case (planetsmilies.com ---> planetsmilies.com), and thats the only path that is mentioned in the htaccess....

You get the error msgs when trying to access the error.php directly, too, that is, without entering some nonexistant url first and being send to it by the htaccess.

The problem could be that on the old server, my root would be /www/12345/, and now its /www/usr12345/planetsmilies.com/htdocs/. So my files are actually stored in that htdocs folder, not planetsmilies.com or whatever.

But the disclaimer's url still is http://www.planetsmilies.com/static/disclaimer.php, and with error.php in the same folder it should be http://www.planetsmilies.com/static/error.php.... what the heck

Btw requesting the error.php does NOT return a 404 itself, you can actually see its content ("Sorry, the page you requested could not be located.")

So it is located in that folder. It just doesnt include the header and footer right .x
