ackbarr do you know something I dont?

I can get this RSS feed to work (via backend.php)
But Ive never been able to get it to VALIDATE
(via feedster, syndic8 and the like)

Anyone ever find a solution to this?
Thanks

Note:Is RSSfit the solution?
Hmmm
Have already tried lykos (several versions) and a few others to no avail. Will try fit tommorrow.

DobePhat backend.php and RSSFit works perfectly. See it in action athttp://www.BizDome.com/modules/rss however in my experience, feeds do not validate not because of a module or XOOPS but because of funny characters in the feed. XML is SO picky. A lot of times Feed Validator will tell you where the problem is and 9 out of 10 times its because of a &, ' or some character. I guess the modules should convert & to & but I dunno. Check your titles the problem is usually there.

darapera:
You are correct much of the problems are related to strange characters :ie: quotes and apostrophes (sp?)

However the usual problem seems to be the time format...the format in our timestamp which it's drawn from seems to be incorrect for many Rss aggregators.

Will try rssfit thanks for the heads up...

I dont quite get which url we link to. is it...
http://www.site.com/modules/rss/rss.php

I have some funky errors showing up. Amont them the url for the article displays twice. But more importantly Im not sure if this is good to submit to rss feed engines.

Unless there is a different address to point to?

hmmmmm

Actually that DOES help thanks.

I guess my date and time format is incorrect...
hmmm I wonder when I made this change?
Iget the following error

pubDate must be an RFC-822 date

For example:

<lastBuildDate>Thu, 26 Aug 2004 17:17:24 Mountain Standard Time</lastBuildDate>

Where can I change this? timestamp?Functions?

But actually what about this modules rss feed. (RSSFit)that's what Im trying to figure out mostly. It seems nice but it doesnt appear to work the same way.
