FIrst thing,
backup all our XOOPS files inhttp://www.mydomain.com
Backup your XOOPS SQL database..

then..upload your backup sql databse intohttp://www.newdomain.com

then upload your backup XOOPS files intohttp://www.newdomain.com

Next open up mainfile.php
and edit some lines associated with the new domain configuration..

Remember to CHMOD 777,666 accordingly on some folders/files and certain modules folders like Xoopsgallery else the page go blank or something..

This is my personal experience..
Hope it helps. If not.. go look the actual XOops.org support team : Stewdio or Jackj

Hi limecity!

Thanks for your reply. Sorry for the title of this topic is not clearly. I only want to change the URL of my site.
I changed this line in the mainfile.php

// XOOPS Virtual Path (URL)
// Virtual path to your main XOOPS directory WITHOUT trailing slash
// this is the old value
define('XOOPS_URL', 'http://myoldhost.myolddomain.com');
// this is the new value
define('XOOPS_URL', 'http://mynewhost.mynewdomain.com');

that's all

anything else? what should I have to do next??

Best regards
